| Our proposal album | 01.27.12 | News |

I'm very picky when it comes to choosing an album company to work with. I take pride in my photographs, thats why I work with only a selected few. There are so many album companies out there, but to me quality is most important. I don't like albums being made like cupcakes in a factory. I like to see time well spent with care into every single album.
For our proposal album, I decided to go with a little more organic style but still have the contemporary look. Using exclusive fabric, hand made flash-mount pages. This album has a class all on its own.
Album Company: Cypress Albums
Photographer: Mike Colón Photographers
Inside album design: Yours truly :)

| Back to Black | 03.01.11 | News |

Introducing the All New kriskan.com. My very first thoughts for my new online portfolio came about a year ago. When I started brainstorming and asking my family and friends for their own opinion, almost everyone told me the same thing. They all thought it was too soon for me to change from what I already had. Even though I value all of their opinions, I still went against It. I wanted to create a website that brings simplicity to another level. Since I offer different type of photography, I wanted to represent all of them in a different way....but still try to keep them all in the same family. Just like how I would open my camera bag to use a specific lens to capture my subject.
KRIS KAN WEDDINGS: A collection of my favorite images from all the weddings that I was blessed to be a part of. Includes a section just for engagement sessions, and some of the most beautiful wedding details. Don't let the contemporary design fool you. This website is not only easy to use, but It's also iPad and iPhone friendly :)
KRIS KAN JUNIOR: My most advanced website ever!! I started shooting babies/kids right around the time when I started photographing weddings. I've always claimed that children are my favorite subject to photograph, so natural but sometimes so challenging. I wanted this site to be interactive so even kids can enjoy visiting. The characters ( birds and the bunny ) respond with the touch of the mouse. The scene changes from morning to night after 7pm pacific time, along with the four seasons which also changes along the way.
KRIS KAN HOLLYWOOD: Thanks to my dear friends at Hollyscoop, I started capturing stars on the red carpet. With movie premieres and award shows, along with backstage access. This website let's the visitors browse around and check out their favorite movie stars. Very simple to navigate, with large images to enjoy.
KRIS KAN STUDIO: Over a decade of hard work, I've reached the level of opening my own studio. This website includes my studio information, and a glance of what to expect from the whole experience.
KRIS KAN BLOG: My most popular website! I am so proud to say that I was one of the first photographers to start a blog. When others were stuck on being private about their photos, I started blogging about mine. Although my new blog has not changed much, It will still offer the latest updates of news and photos.
I would like to thank my web team, Brock and Dave from Infinet Design for helping me bring all my ideas into life. Thanks guys for putting up with all the madness for the past three Months. Your hard work will always be appreciated.
